Deemed "expressive" (Oregonian) & "able to tell a story with every note" (Artslandia), Liz made her professional singing debut at the tender age of 9 in Austin,Texas. Climbing up on a barstool to sing Ernest Tubb harmonies in her mama's honky tonk band, she soon realized she would do (just about) anything to be on the stage. She was often paid in red licorice back then and she was really OK with that.

Kristen is a native Oregonian and lover of music from all genres. Praised for her “smooth and heartfelt” singing (Artslandia), she has performed, toured, and recorded professionally with many local groups including Cappella Romana, Resonance Ensemble, The Ensemble of Oregon, In Mulieribus, Oregon Catholic Press, Portland Baroque Orchestra, Third Angle, 45th Parallel, Rachel Taylor Brown, Bryan Free, Portland Cello Project, Kliros, and Trinity Chamber Singers.

She earned Bachelor of Arts degrees from George Fox University in Newberg, OR in both Vocal Music Performance and Writing/Literature, then packed up her little red Acura and went on to Portland State University as an Oregon Graduate Laurels Scholar where she garnered a Master of Music degree in Conducting.
